25 Fun Thanksgiving Finger Foods

Is there anything more dangerous than putting out a tray of little bites before Thanksgiving dinner? Everyone says they’re only having one… and five minutes later half the platter is gone!

I looove finger foods for Thanksgiving… they’re a must, right?? People can grab something while they’re talking, helping in the kitchen, or waiting for the turkey to finally be ready. And you can have a little fun with them too. Tiny pumpkins, turkey-shaped treats, cheesy bites… this is probably the one part of dinner where nobody expects you to be too serious.

25 Fun Thanksgiving Finger Food Ideas

One thing that makes the whole spread easier? Mix a couple of warm appetizers with a few things you can make ahead and serve at room temperature. That way you’re not trying to bake six trays at once while the turkey is already taking over the oven.

So, what are you putting out this year? There are savory bites, little Thanksgiving desserts, and plenty of fun ideas here that don’t require anyone to sit down with a knife and fork. And no, you definitely don’t need to make all 25… although I’d be impressed, haha!!

Thanksgiving Charcuterie Board

A turkey made out of snacks? Now that belongs on a Thanksgiving table!! A pear makes the body, then all the meat, cheese, fruit, and crunchy bits fan out around it like feathers. Build this one right where you plan to serve it… carrying a fully loaded turkey across the kitchen sounds like trouble, haha.

25) Bacon Wrapped Shrimp by The Forked Spoon

Bacon Wrapped Shrimp

Bacon-wrapped shrimp already sounds pretty convincing, right? The honey Cajun glaze adds a little sweetness and heat, then everything gets roasted until the bacon is crisp around the edges. Use thin bacon here… the shrimp cooks fast and you don’t want it waiting around for the bacon to catch up!

You definitely don’t need 25 different recipes on the table, haha. Pick a couple that can be made ahead, add one warm bite you’re excited about, and call it a win!! And if one of these ends up becoming the tray everyone talks about, come back and tell me which one it was. Those are always my favorite comments to read.

Now all that’s left is to keep a few bites aside for yourself before everyone else finds them… Happy Thanksgiving!
