Ingredients
For the brownies:
- 1 cup unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled
- 1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all‑purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips plus extra for topping
For the peanut butter swirl:
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8‑inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, whisk until glossy.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold until just combined. Stir in ½ cup mini chocolate chips.
- Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth. Drop spoonfuls over the batter, swirling with a butter knife.
- Sprinkle extra mini chocolate chips on top.
- Bake 28–32 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before slicing. For clean cuts, chill before slicing.
Notes
- Store at room temp for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
- Refrigerate for up to 5 days for a denser texture.
- Freeze individually wrapped for up to 2 months.
