For the dough:
  • 1 cup 175 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp milk (add an extra spoon if needed)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
For the coating:
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
Optional glaze:
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and sugar.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the egg, melted butter, honey, milk, and vanilla.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until a soft dough forms. It should be slightly tacky but not sticky.
  4. Roll into small balls (about 1 tablespoon each) and place on parchment paper cut to fit your air fryer basket.

  7. Optional: drizzle with the quick vanilla glaze and let it set before serving.
