25 Summer High Protein Low Calorie Snacks

Hot days make snack time weird, don’t they? You want something from the fridge that’s easy to grab and eat. Maybe something cold. Maybe something crunchy. And definitely something that helps you stay full without turning into a heavy meal before dinner.

25 Summer High Protein Low Calorie Snack Ideas
Pinterest Icon Save for later!

That’s where low calorie high protein snacks are so helpful. You still get a snack that feels light for summer, but the protein gives it more staying power.

Less random pantry wandering and more of that nice steady feeling that gets you through the afternoon.

Some of these are dips for veggies, little bites you can prep ahead, and sweet snacks that feel like a treat. Nothing complicated. Just snacks you can make, stash, and grab when the day gets busy!

Pick a few that sound good and keep them ready. Snack time is much less chaotic when the fridge has a plan (mine needs all the help it can get, haha).

1) Whipped Avocado Cottage Cheese Dip by Skinnytaste

Whipped Avocado Cottage Cheese Dip

This is the kind of snack I want when it is hot and I do not feel like making anything serious (we all have lazy days, haha). It is creamy and easy to scoop with cucumbers, carrots, or whatever crunchy veggies are in the fridge. It uses cottage cheese to add protein and it’s great to save in the fridge for later!

2) Tuna Cucumber Boats by All Nutritious

Tuna Cucumber Boats

You get 21g of protein for only 118 calories, which is pretty hard to beat for a summer snack.

The cucumber keeps it cold and crunchy, while the tuna makes it feel like something that can actually hold you over. I’d eat a couple of these when lunch was too light or when dinner is still a little too far away.
